It’s hard to believe that super famous K-pop idols like BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and BTOB’s Minhyuk also feel lonely. Based on their statement released on media, it is true.
In an appearance of G-dragon during KBS2’s “Happy Together,” he expressed his feeling of emptiness and loneliness after meeting around 60,000 fans in his concert in Japan.
"But because we are human as well,we all feel the emotions that everyone else feels," G-Dragon said.
"People think that we (Big Bang members) have parties after concerts and live very extravagant lives but the truth is, it’s never like that,” he added.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon also said the same thing. She said that after concerts, she felt that nothing left inside her. On her interview for OnStyle, she said that she felt the emptiness when she returned to her hotel room right after her Japan tour. Moreover, on Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook she previously shared that she feels lonely.
BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk also expressed how he felt as a member of an idol group, clarifying that it is not always a happy job like how others see it.
“Being a member of a group, looks very flashy and grand from the outside (but) it is a very lonely job,” Lee Minhyuk said when he appeared together with the other BTOB members in KBS2 TV’s “Hello Counselor.”
