Kim Ji Won is back on the small screen with the newest KBS 2TV’s drama series titled “Fight My Way.” It’s her first lead role after playing the supporting character First Lieutenant Yoon Myeong Ju in the Asia’s most popular drama “Descendants of the Sun.”
After more than a year of not starring on a drama, the 24-year-old actress revealed it was the story of the drama which enticed her to take the role.
“I was drawn to the drama from the very beginning because of the log line in the synopsis for the drama, which was, ‘No matter what others say, we will walk the path that we have laid for ourselves.’ I decided to take on this project because it’s a drama about living for oneself, not for that thing that others call success,” Ji won said as per Soompi.
Kim Ji Won revealed that she was used to play on tough and strong character; that's why she decided to take the role which is more natural for her and easier for her portrayal.
The 24-year-old South Korean actress will be portraying the role of Choi Ae Ra who works at the department store information desk and aspires to be a news anchor in the future. The actress added that her character is courageous who always does her best in everything. She added that the character is lovable who knows how to find the positive even in small things and genuine in her emotions.
The actress also added that she is positive that the viewers will have fun watching her character in the drama as there will be plenty of women who can relate with her.
Kim Ji Won stars alongside “Hwarang” actor Park Seo Joon in “Fight My Way.”
