Here are the list of Korean drama actors and Kpop idols who will be enlisting into the military service by this year.
The BIGBANG’s oldest member Choi Seung Hyun, famous known for name T.O.P will officially begin his two-year military service on February 9, 2017.
Lee Min Ho
Currently starring in SBS’ fantasy romance drama “Legend of the Blue Sea,” the 29-year old actor has not yet revealed when he will begin his mandatory military service this year. The actor will serve as a public service officer instead of an active duty soldier due to his physical injuries which he got from a car accident in 2006 together with actor Jung Il Woo.
KwangHee, who is known to be good friend of BIGBANG’s members will also be joining the 2017 military enlistment lineup.
Jang Geun Suk
Jang Geun Suk who recently starred in SBS’ drama “Jackpot” is expected to begin his military service this year.
JYJ’s XIA Junsu
The former member of TVXQ and member of JYJ , Junsu will begin his two-year mandatory military service on February 9, 2017.
Moon Jun Won or Joo Woon is known for starring in “King of Baking,” “Yong Pal” and “Fatal Intuition.” He previously stated that he is planning to join military in late 2016.
Ok Taecyeon recently star in “Let’s Fight Ghost” with Kim So Hyun. He stated that he will be joining the military service in 2017. 2PM will hold a full-member concert before he finally begin his service.
2PM’s Jun. K
Jun. K will be the other 2PM member who will fulfill his duties in the military. After he ends his solo tour and their full-member concert “6Nights,” Jun. K will start preparing to enlist soon.
Seo In Guk
Seo In Guk is ready to enlist in the military. He stated in an interview that he will be enlisting after his promotions for his single “BeBe.”
"People I know told me that I'll adjust well when I go to the military. And everyone serves in the military so I just want to quietly enlist if I can,” the singer-actor said during an interview.
Ji Chang Wook
Known as the “Healer” and “the K2,” the 29-year-old actor said he will be enlisting this year. The actor will be releasing his new movie “Fabricated City” before his military service.
Super Junior’s KyuHyun
The youngest Super Junior member will be enlisting this year. He reportedly leaving behind his “Radio Star” show to perform his military duty.
