Fans have been shocked when they got the announcement that Goblin will only air one episode last week together with a special episode. Some reportedly said that it might be because of some filming issue that’s why the last three episodes were moved to another date of airing.

Some fans speculate that the news about Gong Yoo having health problems may be true as evident to the cancellation, however one staff member explained the true reason for the delay, saying, “While is it true we had a hectic filming schedule; when we reached the middle episodes, we didn’t have any problems filming the rest.”

The staff member also denied the rumors about Gong Yoo’s health problems saying those were just made up by those people who haven’t even see the actors during filming.

“The delay is partly due to our PD’s ambitious goals. The last 3 episodes are going to be full of bright colors, as they will be focusing on a lot of the magical and fantastical aspects of the storyline. Thus, we are planning on using a lot of computer graphics, which requires a little more time,” he stated.

“We don’t want the computer graphics to look tacky, so we’re focusing entirely on improving the visuals so that it can live up to the name of being a fantasy drama,” he added.

“Goblin” episode 14 will be aired on January 20, Friday and episode 15 and 16 will be aired back-to-back on January 21, Saturday.

I bet fans are so much excited for the last three episodes but sad to know that their fave drama will have to end soon.
