Red Velvet’s Joy is now ready again to take over a new drama series, this time in one of the leading South Korean television network company: MBC. She will be starring alongside “Save Me” and “Mad Dog” actor Woo Do Hwan.
The said pair received positive criticism and hype from fans domestically and even internationally. According to some fans, since both leads, Red Velvet’s Joy and Woo Do Hwan, are currently making names on entertainment industry given their young age, they provide a chance to prove themselves more.
Joy is known to be a member of one of the top idol girl group from South Korean, Red Velvet. She recently debuted her acting career on the Korean adaptation of “The Liar and His Lover” and worked with some famous young actors like Lee Hyun Woo and Lee Seo Won.
Though her previous acting performance received criticism, different producers have expressed their want to work with the idol actress.
While Woo Do Hwan was known since 2016 and 2017, he proved his acting skills in OCN’s “Save Me” and KBS2’s “Mad Dog.” He also won the Best New Actor award for his character in “Mad Dog” during the 31st KBD Drama Awards.
Kim Min Jae and Moon Ga young were also confirmed as part of the cast.
“A Great Seducer” is a Korean adaptation of the French novel titled “Les Liaisons dangereuses.” It is set to air on March 12, 2018.
