BTS, EXO, Seventeen Tops Brand Value Ranking For Boy Groups In January 2017

BTS is the number one boy group in terms of brand value for this first month of 2017.

According to Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, BTS had a total of 8,895,084 for data examined from December 13, 2016 to January 14, 2017. The second group was EXO with 5,640,921 points followed by Seventeen with 4,012,074.

Other boy groups included on the list were: Big Bang, BTOB, Shinhwa, INFINITE, VIXX, B2ST, SHINee, Sechskies, B1A4, Block B, WINNER, MONSTA X, Super Junior, B.A.P, TVXQ, JYJ, 2PM, ZE:A, TEEN TOP, 2AM, and F.T. Island.

Meanwhile, BTS garnered two recognitions on the 31st Golden Disk Awards. They were named the Global K-Pop Artist Awardee and Disk Bonsang, an award they won for three straight years.

Moreover, BTS is now preparing for their new release.

“It’s true that BTS is currently preparing with the goal of a comeback in February, but nothing has yet been confirmed… They are still discussing what type of release they will put out. No time period for a release has been set,” group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement.
